Google Should List RSS Subscribers
All things considered, I have to assume that Google properties (personalized homepage, Reader) are a significant portion of my RSS subscribers, possibly one of the biggest. So why won’t Google help me publicize that fact? Jeff Jarvis is 100% correct, and there are other good reasons: If I were an RSS advertiser, wouldn’t I need those numbers? Google is hurting RSS as long as it keeps those stats to itself, as is any other feed-caching service that does the same.

One way you can tell is to make sure all your links in your rss feed contain a parameter like rss=1 so you can keep track of who came via viewing your RSS feed.
