OptusNet reports on an invitation Google has sent out to invite Australian businesses for the launch of Google’s business solutions for enterprise search:
“Please join Google and partners for this media-only briefing as we launch business solutions for enterprise search,” the company said in an e-mail inviting press to a media briefing on 22 June.
Internationally, the company has several products targeted at the enterprise market, ranging from the small business-targeted Google Mini to the high-end Google Search Appliance.
[…]But they have not historically been available in Australia. The earliest press statement relating to the products on Google’s Web site is dated June 17, 2002.
