Comedy.com has “archived” how Google.com looked in 1988, complete with ASCII porn, a less complicated version of Tetris, and proof that Drudge has been using that annoying flashing light forever. Funny stuff.

    BUSTED! I doubt the W3C had a subdir /1999/ back in 1988, or had any XHTML spec released.

    And you gotta love ‘em non-interactive ASCII tetris widgets, which Google undoubtedly had in 1988 (if they would’ve existed back then).
