Sync Google Calendar With Windows Mobile
Christopher Gooley has written a program called GCalendarSync for Windows Mobile 2005 over the .NET 2.0 Compact Framework that allows Google Calendar to be synced with Windows Mobile’s calendar application over any internet connection, including GPRS. That means you get two way (events created on your phone show up in your calendar, event created online show up on your phone) calendar sync without ever having to use a cable. Damn, if only syncing the device with the rest of Windows were that easy!

This is cool. But it’s limited in that you can only sync if your phone is directly connected to the Internet (via GPRS, 3G, etc.). What if I had a Windows Mobile phone but I couldn’t get to connect directly to the Internet. I have to rely on syncing via my computer. Well, in theory, I could use the computer to create a pass-thru connection so my mobile phone can connect to the Web. But that’s quite tedious.
What I would find very useful is a two-way iCal and Google calendar sync solution.

And another option…you can OTA two way sync Google to your Mobile using OggSync. A Freeware verision has just been releaseed also. It works great on our Q and Treo 700w. It is for Windows Mobile 5.0 only.

Google Tutor,
If you’re looking for two-way sync between iCal and Google Calendar, you should check out Spanning Sync (spanningsync.com).

We use our implementation of the OTA activesync protocol

the device:
