Google Gadget Directory Adds More Usage Stats
Google’s Homepage Content Directory started showing the number of weekly pageviews three months ago, and now they show the number of users who have the Gadget installed. By itself, it’s not a very useful stat, because many of those users could be inactive and never use it, but it’s a good bit of additional information.
Here are some top Gadgets:
- Weather - 6,593,949 users / 321,210,021 pageviews
- Date & Time - 4,860,018 users / 157,754,150 pageviews
- Gmail - 3,256,386 users / 147,062,862 pageviews
- Wikipedia - 1,065,080 users / 46,570,686 pageviews
