Ultimate Search For Bourne - Day Four

Today’s mission is to find out where Nicky Parsons, Treadstone’s old Logistics Coordinator, is located, since Bourne is trying to meet up with her. The answer is somewhere in her Dater Notes profile.

The pictures don’t do anything in the Image Filter, so that’s not it.

Ah, it’s so obvious! One of her photos has a caption of a place. Enter the name of that place in Google, and you’ll see where it’s located (starts with a “T”). Enter the place in the message transmitter, and you’re done.

You should get four cameras to place, and your goal is to catch Bourne before he leaves the city. I still have no idea how the sightings thing works, so I placed cameras at Gare d’Austerlitz, Pont Neuf, 3 Rue Jarente, and 142 Rue Montmartre. Anyone want to explain where the sightings clues are?

  1. The help icon on the Surveillance section indicates that the camera should be placed in the city/area which has been used in that day’s puzzle. It also says that there are surveillance cameras in all major cities. However I still see that all 7 cameras are in Paris? I decided to refresh the page hoping that I might get to see some cams in the “T” city. No luck. I couldn’t even place the cameras and now I see available cameras as 0 instead of 4 :-(

  2. Hello,

I put Gare d’Austerlitz, Pont Neuf, Champs Elysée and Centre Pompidou. Nothing happen.

If someone can try the others locations and give a feeback.

  4. yeah i don’t see any hints on were to put the cameras. i have four sightings so far, so does my buddy. is it the same for everyone else? i just put one at Tower Eiffel for the first time. Hope that helps. The missions are so short. I hope we get to use the image decoder thing soon.

  6. Rajarshi: But the only city areas used in today’s puzzle were in Africa, so how do you choose?

Paul: If you refresh, you lose the ability to place the cameras. You have to place them immediately after solving the mission.

I think I have two sighting so far.

  12. Be smart to get 3 sightings? I don’t think so - I have 4 and my cameras are placed randomly. ;)

  13. I logged in later and I just started to select cameras and it let me select all 4 and save….. Hopefully this works.

  14. Why do you assume you can have ONLY ONE surveillance camera at ONE location. If you want more sightings (for whatever they’re worth), assign multiple instances of the camera(s) at the SAME location based on the clue(s) provided. In real life, would you only try to surveil from ONE camera angle?
In Paris, the only real clue has been Pompidou Center and only one camera LOCATION covers an address at Pompidou Center.
Stumbled upon this when I accidentally double-clicked instead of single-clicked on a “Use camera” and assigned 2 of 3 available cameras. The NEXT DAY I came back with TWO more sightings instead of ONE. That’s how someone racked up SIX sightings in the first THREE days (1+2+3=6) since the number of allocated cameras increments by 1 for each successful “day” (1 briefing with successful solution = 1 “day”).
BTW, if you haven’t left Paris yet yourself, why would you be able to activate a camera elsewhere.
