Ultimate Search For Bourne - Day Twelve
Four days to go, and I picked up two more sightings. Can it actually happen? Probably not…
Anyway, today’s mission is the first in New York, the last city in the game. You’ll need to head back to Dater Notes, back to Nicky’s profile, and find one of her photos that holds the clue. Pretty much just copy the URL of each photo and plug it into the Image Filter until you get the answer.
Enter the location into the Message Transmitter, then place your camera. I’d say it’s pretty obvious that you should place the camera in the same place the location in the mission was.

Well this has been fun and we are down to the final few days…..
I have to say I have been a little disappointed on how easy this has been.
Oh well it has been fun too!!!:)

well I found the answer but the image filter was being quite picky today with the specific URL, also I supposedly had 3 sighting yesterday which should put me at 13, yet my sighting have not increase from 10 as I had the previous day.

In response to “it’s pretty obvious that you should place the camera in the same place the location in the mission was.”-Madison Square Park- But, I don’t know- I think this is where they are supposed to meet!! I thought that The “Operators” would maybe think that “Bourne” would want to “Observe” Nicky first!
I placed my camera at the market on Essex Street as this is in ZIP10002 which is listed as Nicky’s address in her profile!

As per usual, the solution was moron simple ( Just like the crossword, the London Eye, Waterloo etc. etc. etc)
I thought this game was supposed to be a promo- tie in to showcase the powers of Google; Yet; no Googling needed, no “use all the tools at your disposal” type quests!
Prime eg. the crossword had answers that were all related to “spy stuff” If anyone that was involved had really been bothered to REALLY set up this game they should of had a “Bonus” day before “Bourne” Left London; in which he stuck around to get equipment! If you googled the possible camera locations (not the obv. ones-L.Eye, Downing St., St. Pauls etc.) One of them showed up as the address for a spy gadget shop !!!!Cool eh?!! Obviously someone in the design team included it for a reason, but it wasn’t pursued (Sorry about the pun)
My point is that after all the time and money invested in graphics, software controls, ActiveX,web design, fake pages/blogs, Google map entries, et al; There wasn’t much left for the actual original mission objective — To promote the movie and Google!via an “interesting” interactive sleuth game
There are sooo many opportunities where the “Game” could have involved complexities that COULD have been included to make this a really fun game AND showcase Google but, the whole thing seems to have been aimed at the lowest common denominator (So anyone can Play?!?!?– Have you read the official rules? Can anyone really even jump the hoops to claim a prize!?!?!) I REALLY hope the Movie doesn’t treat us all like goo(gle)-brains

I’ve had fifteen sightings too. But when I did day 13 the camera map didn’t load and after I refreshed (stupid!) I didn’t have any available cameras.

I’ve had 15 sightings too. But after I played day 13, the camera map didn’t load, and then after I refreshed the page (stupid!) there weren’t any cameras available. I feel gypped.
