Blogger Adds Scheduled Posting
Google’s Blogger service has added the ability In Draft to publish posts at a future date. Hitting “Post Options” when writing a post lets you change the date and time of a post. If you set a time in the future, your post will not be seen by readers of your blog until that time arrives, at which point it will go live. This feature is currently only available in the Blogger In Draft testing arena, but will likely go live when all the kinks have been worked out.

Hasn’t this been around for ages? I had a Blogger account around the time it was bought by Google, and you could set the date in the future for posts then.

@Ryan G: As I recall, the feature was available in “old” Blogger but was somehow removed in the new dynamic system. You could still set future dates, but the post would appear immediately. Now future-dated posts don’t even show up until that time.
Or was that always the behavior? I never used old Blogger…

I never knew this option is available. I have been thinking of emailing Google if it could implement a feature like this. Now, this solves all my worries on long travel and not having posted a new topic in my blog for an extended duration.
