Yeah, You Have TWO Gmail Addresses

Some people might enjoy this: Gmail.com maps to GoogleMail.com, so every @gmail.com email address also is a @googlemail.com address. In other words, if you’re joeyjoejoejunior@gmail.com, all email to joeyjoejoejunior@googlemail.com also goes to your inbox, due to legal and trademark issues in other countries. If you want a second address, there you go!

  1. Gmail has had this for years with it’s support for plus-addressing:

  2. You have a lot more than two gmail addresses. Gmail ignores everything after a + character, so joeyjoejoejunior@gmail.com can also use joeyjoejoejunior+sexyguy@gmail.com or anything else in that line (and usefully can filter messages based on the part after the +).

  3. You have a bunch more - as well as plus addressing, Gmail ignores periods in addresses (so foo.bar@gmail.com, foobar@gmail.com, foo.bar@googlemail.com, foobar@googlemail.com and foobar+test@googlemail.com all go to the same inbox)
