AOL Browser Now Available For Download

AOL’s new web browser, essentially Internet Explorer with some great new features (including tabbed browsing and integrated desktop and web & chat history search) is now available for download. I’m installing it now, review later.

Some info:

It’s in beta, version 0.68.

The system requirements:
Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
Windows® 98SE or higher
Pentium II Processor
64MB RAM

The download is 6.8 megabytes.

Besides tabbed browsing and desktop search (powered by Copernic), it has:

  • Tear off tabs
  • Tab thumbnails
  • “Power Browsing” - Use enhanced information tools, including high contrast pages, zooming, loading multiple tabs and stimages/art-up and clearing browsing footprints
  • A pop-up blocker
