Google Wants Your Brain!

Mmm… Google like brains…

Google wants you to take good care of that big brain of yours. So much so that it is sending out leaflets to high-powered campuses like MIT giving students tips on how to protect and nurture their big juicy pink and gray matter. The leaflets are titled “How To Take Care Of Your Big, Wonderful High-Performance Brain”, and the tips?

  • Big Brains Crave Algae And Acid
  • Get Your Nap On
  • Take A Walk With Your Brain
  • Cry, Laugh And Rock Out
  • Cooler Brains Prevail
  • Use Your Big Brain Or Lose It
  • Wake Up To Your Large Cerebellum

Of course, it’s the last one that’s the most interesting. It’s called “Share Your Big Brain With The World”.

Google's Big Brain Leaflet

For those of you who don’t want to squint at really tiny letters, here’s the full text:

SHARE YOUR BIG BRAIN WITH THE WORLD
Big brains are at their best when they are able to share their gift with everyone. So apply for a position with Google Labs. You and your killer brain will work on some of the most challenging and rewarding projects on earth. And spend 20% of your time working on projects of your own - in a culture that encourages you to use both sides of that big grape. Email your resume to bigbrain@google.com or check out google.com/labjobs

Clearly, Google has gotten out of the search engine business and into the zombie brain-eating business. That, or they are trying to get a monopoly on the world’s biggest brains. Can you have an antitrust lawsuit against a brain monopoly?

  3. I was looking for this, and couldn’t find it.

Want to take a guess for how long I’d been Googling and Google Desktopping? Even when I was pretty sure it was at the current/former URL of InsideGoogle or the current/former URL of the Official Google Blog, it took me way too long.

Why? I was searching for the text in the image. Google needs optical character recognition pronto! ;)
