Google Malta Hacked

Oh, ha ha ha, ha ha, ha ha ha! Ha ha! Ha ha, ha ha ha!

… has not confirmed nor denied whether its Maltese search engine, Google.com.mt, was hacked late on Tuesday evening earlier this week, presumably by Maltese hackers.

The search button ‘fittex’ (search) encountered a momentary metamorphosis on Tuesday evening when the word on the button was changed to the standard Maltese insult of calling somebody a ‘penis in a can’.

Ha ha ha ha! Ha! Ha Ha! Hee hee! Heh, heh…

  1. You know that Google uses volunteer translators, right?. It’s definitely possible this was a prank mis-translation, and not servers being hacked. Funny nonetheless.
