$97.44 For A Single Ad Click?

Al Walentis points to Googlest, which has what it says is an accurate list of the most expensive Google AdWords keywords. Tops? “domains Yahoo”, with a Max CPC of $520.52, coming out to an average Cost-Per-Click of $97.44. The whole list of over $50 keywords:

  • domains yahoo - $97.44 ($520.52 max)
  • domain name yahoo - $79.81 ($418.63)
  • dc hair laser removal washington - $68.91 ($145.71)
  • law lemon wisconsin - $66.15 ($119.63)
  • hair removal washington dc - $51.14 ($135.94)

Meanwhile, “accident lawyer” is barely over five bucks. Obviously, it has more to do with demand and the number of people searching for a specific keyword. More popular terms are cheaper; less popular terms with a lot of money at stake are expensive. A great resource for anyoen buying ads.

  1. Well, thanks for sharing this information. I just search for each string and clicked on every damn sponsored link on them. I wonder how much I made for Google… and would they be hind to share some of the buck?
