Adding Google Sitemaps To Movable Type and WordPress Blogs
Both Niall Kennedy and Syam Kumar give advice on how to easily implement Google Sitemaps in Movable Type blogs. Both use almost the same template to generate an XML file that simply grabs all the permalinks from MT’s database and lists the time modified as the date posted. You have to manually ping Google’s servers afterward, but its all pretty basic. Someone is sure to generate some similar code for WordPress using WP’s tags (hurry!).

UPDATE: Michael Nguyen has generated some very basic code for WordPress. He notes that it only includes posts, not categories or any other pages.

Nicholas: I gather that Google doesn’t need this feature for Blogger, being that it resides on their servers already. The real question is when they’ll finally leverage that ability.

这里已经说了，可以通过 的feed直接到GoogleSitemaps去提交，不用再这 了，对于我们这些提供rss的blog来说，简便多了。
