Google Sponsoring MIT $100 Laptop Program
Search Engine Journal reports that Google is one of the corporate sponsors of MIT’s One Laptop per Child program, which is trying to get $100 laptops into the hands of schoolchildren in poor countries. I think this is an incredibly interesting story and bears worth following. An ambitious endevour, to say the least, and good for Google for being a part.



Did you see those laptops? They’re actually pretty awesome from a product design point of view. I’d pay real cash for one of those with a screen that’s easier to read. It would be a great way to read books, take notes, etc.
