Yahoo Blog Search Coming This Week
BusinessWeek’s Blogspotting reports that Yahoo is set to release its long-anticipated blog search engine this week, not long after Google released its.
This from Bradley Horowitz, director of tech development in the company’s search group. He wouldn’t provide details in advance. And it could be that Yahoo’s announcement will cover only one aspect of blog or RSS search, and not the comprehensive release the search industry’s waiting for.
They also note how Google’s blog search, while solid, did not wow many. I think we’re all hoping to see a good and fast search engine, like Google’s is and Yahoo’s will likely be, but with a platform like Technorati’s.

Hey, we’rve been making a lot of speed and performance improvements over the past months. Are you still finding Technorati too slow for you? Or is it the result formatting? How can we make Technorati better for you?
I’d love to hear from you - drop me a line at dsifry AT technorati DOT com, or on my cell phone, 415 846-0232.

This would be interesting!
Google seem to be dictating the tune of search engine directions. I wonder what Yahoo can realy do to catch instead of constatly responding to Google’s initiatives.
Let’s watch this (Yahoo’s) space.
