I don’t know, I feel like I should be linking to these things, but I’m in such a rush to get caught back up after a minor vacation. Well, at least I can point to Scoble’s favorite website, Memeorandum:

  • Weblogs bought by AOL - Jason Calacanis’ blog network bought out by the former net giant, which has been rumored as an aquisition target for Google and Microsoft. Can you imagine Google owning a blog network? Eh, that deal’l never happen. Still, gotta wonder what sort of changes AOL will bring.
  • Yahoo buys Upcoming.org - prepping for Google Calendar?

And from Google Blogoscoped:

  • Taiwan on Google Maps - Taiwan has long been in a very tricky political situation (too complicated for me to do justice), and Google’s reference is considered insulting by their government, which is demanding an apology.
  • More Google Subdomains - check out console.google.com. Anyone got a password? :-)
  • Save Jeeves - poor Jeeves. Who will we see in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? I vote for a big floating Google “G”, or an MSN butterfly.

  1. console.google.com seems to be for administering “co-branded Internet search services”

  2. If only I had gotten the scoop when I met Jason. Though I also met Rafat from Paid Content and he didn’t get confirmation from Jason that day.
