Valleywag is obsessed, I tell you! They actually went and figured out who the guy was in the Google Romance April Fools site. Turns out the bread-attacker was none other than product marketing manager Jon Steinback. Jon’s job is Google Video, and he’s got the Google blog posts to prove it.

Okay, here’s an actual Valleywag post I’ve been meaning to link to. Under the great headline “Google Finance Doesn’t Like Black People“, they report that Google Finance shows Symantec CEO John Thompson as a smiling white guy, when in fact, his skin is more than a few shades darker. They’ve fixed it since then.
