Google: #13 Website In Impact

The Observer has a list of the fifteen most influential websites in the long history of the internet. Google takes the thirteenth spot, which is kind of shockingly low. Google has had more impact that Craigslist, Salon, Slashdot and Wikipedia, all of which rank above it. Not only did Google change the way we find all the other websites, it also gave the rest of the net a real, sustainable business model. What the hell did Slashdot do that didn’t involve only us geeks?
