Mac Users Get Better Google Notifier
Google has released a new version of the Gmail Notifier for the Mac, and it actually comes with better features than the Windows version. The Mac Notifier not only informs you of new Gmail messages, it also includes alerts for Google Calendar events. With this new feature, Google renames it the Google Notifier. No word on why Mac users get the Calendar notifier, while PC users will have to either wait for a future version or download some other software.

Doesn’t work on Panther, and my aging iMac won’t run Tiger. I guess I’ll be sticking with the old version.
