Embed Google Widgets (hack-free)

I’ve been using the Google Pages hack to embed Google Widgets (er, Gadgets) in some blog posts, which isn’t exactly reliable. Now, Google has added an official way to use Gadgets externally, which come with loads of options you can use. You get to set borders, font size/color/style, and all sorts of other stuff, before putting the Gadgets in your blog posts and sidebars. Gadgets can be a very easy way to add useful information to a website without committing yourself to doing actual work.

The resizing doesn’t appear to work well for me.

You know what’s going to be fun? Embedding Google Gadgets in other company’s personalized pages, like Windows Live.com.
