gPC Laptop From Everex On The Way
Everex, maker of the cheapo gPC/gOS (not the Google OS) computer at Wal-Mart, is working on a laptop called the “Cloudbook” running gOS. The device will have a seven-inch screen, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 30 gigabyte hard drive, 1.2 GHz Via C7 ULV processor, 512 megabytes of RAM, ethernet, wifi, a 4-in-1 card reader, 2 USB ports, even DVI-out. It’s good enough for Vista, even has some things my laptop doesn’t have. Expect to see it January 15 for $400.
